After-School/Summer Art Education Program

PRH's After-School Arts Education program works intensely with 55 neighborhood children between the ages of 5 to 13 years old. The curriculum supports interdisciplinary art instruction that uses the creative process to expand the learning of basic academic skills. The comprehensive program is taught by some of Houston's most talented artists and teachers, and includes visual arts, music, Afro-Brazilian dance, drumming, gardening, ceramics, and homework tutorials.
